This multi-national hydraulic engineering firm hired us to design their new corporate headquarters. We were tasked with designing a high-density office with quality work stations to accommodate 170 employees on one floor of 33,000 square feet.

 

Our solution was to position general staff members at the perimeters of the space, enabling us to eliminate partitions that block natural light. We raised the ceilings and employed a palette with bleached woods, whites and light grays. For the interior spaces —  the lunchroom and lounge, the reception area and conference rooms — where the vibrancy of employees and clients meeting and gathering takes place, we selected richer, more expressive colors.
