The site is to the building as the building is to its occupants. We recognize the relationship between interior spaces and the natural setting to be one of the crucial components affecting the quality of living space.

There are many factors that go into site planning: sunlight, view, slope, vegetation, means of access, soil conditions, drainage, and utilities. At MLA these are all incorporated into the design process from the beginning.  Our sensitivity to exterior space defines the context in which our projects are experienced.
